New vacancy: Senior Sales Executive / Account Executive — US Market Velvetech is a US-based IT company with 20+ years of experience working primarily with North American clients. We are looking for a hands-on new-business sales professional with direct experience selling custom software development, dedicated engineering teams, or comparable software engineering services. What we are looking for: - Experience selling custom software development, dedicated engineering teams, staff augmentation, or similar software engineering services. - Experience selling to senior technical decision-makers and economic buyers such as CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Engineering, VPs / Heads of IT, or similar roles. - Proven hands-on experience generating at least part of your own new-business pipeline through outbound, account development, networking, referrals, partnerships, events, or similar channels. - Direct experience selling to US / North American clients. - Strong English and readiness to work with regular US Eastern Time overlap. What you will do: - Manage new-business opportunities from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closing. - Build and develop your own pipeline alongside our lead-generation team. - Lead discovery with technical and business stakeholders. - Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, engineering, and delivery teams during presales. - Negotiate and close new software engineering engagements. Nice to have: - Personally closed new-business deals of approximately $150K+ first-year value. - Experience with 4+ month sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement, legal, or security review. - Enterprise / mid-market sales experience. - Experience with targeted outbound / ABM. - Experience working with BDRs.
