Development Specialist Salary is negotiable. Duties: • User assessment and development/implementation of individual service plan • Promoting the development of users' verbal/alternative communication • Provide appropriate recommendations and support to the beneficiary and family members • Development of necessary skills and support of positive behavior in order to increase the degree of independence of the child • Promoting the integration of the child and family members into society • On the development of the child's cognitive, social, communicative, adaptive and independent life skills • Using strategies to support positive behavior and promote the child's functional independence • Counseling and providing recommendations to parents and family members • Evaluation of the user's progress and production of relevant documentation • Effective collaboration and information sharing with a multidisciplinary team • Upholding professional ethics, confidentiality and evidence-based practice Requirements: • Higher education (teacher, doctor, social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist) • At least two years of experience working with disabled children • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team • Experience in individual assessment, service planning and implementation • Experience in counseling and cooperation with parents/legal representatives • Ability to assess child development and plan intervention • Ability to draw up and implement an individual service plan • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to counsel and support parents • Ability to effectively cooperate in a multidisciplinary team • Ability to produce and report documentation • Ability to use evidence-based approaches and principles of positive behavior support • Basic knowledge of computer programs (MS Office). • High sense of responsibility • Respecting the rights and dignity of the child • Ability to maintain ethical standards and confidentiality • Organization and effective time management • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes • Ability to work effectively in stressful situations We offer: • Work schedule: no more than 8 hours per month with each beneficiary • Workplace: visits to the apartment/office • Remuneration: negotiable
