Duties: • Initial and repeated assessment of the child and family • Drawing up and updating of individual development plan (IDP/Ifsp). • Conducting individual development sessions in the child's natural environment (center, home or garden depending on the need) • Counseling of parents and caregivers and their active involvement in the development process • Promoting the development of the child's motor, cognitive, communicative, social-emotional and self-care skills • Progress documentation and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (neurologist, psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and other specialists) • Communication with kindergarten or school if necessary • Planning and conducting individual and small group play therapy sessions • Promoting the development of the child's social-emotional, communicative, cognitive and behavioral skills • Developing the skills of order keeping, sharing, cooperation, self-regulation, concentration and emotion management through the game • Structuring the therapeutic process and creating a safe, supportive environment • Assessing the child's progress, documenting it and planning intervention based on individual goals • Regular communication with parents and providing recommendations • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (child neurologist, psychologist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, ABA therapist and other specialists) Requirements: • Higher education in special education, psychology, early childhood development, occupational therapy or related field • Certificate of early development specialist • Responsibility, organization and ability to work in a team • Willingness for effective communication and professional development • Higher education in psychology, early childhood development, special education, occupational therapy or other related field • Experience working with children • Knowledge of play-based therapeutic approaches • Teamwork, observation, documentation and communication skills We offer: • Play Therapy, DIR/Floortime, Denver Early Start Model (Esdm) or other relevant training would be a plus • Experience working with children and families will be considered an advantage
