American educational program tutor Salary is negotiable. Duties: • Working with 1st and 2nd grade students of the American educational program • Development and implementation of relevant educational programs and materials (teaching, psychological, cognitive, etc.) based on the national curriculum and the progress school curriculum. • Production of class documentation (e.g. personal files, etc.) • Monitoring of the electronic journal of the class • Registration of student absences and delays and timely informing of parents • Finding out the reason for absence/lateness • Attending classes and monitoring student behavior and learning outcomes • Organizing the class before the lessons start • Supervising and controlling the class during dinner, recess, breaks and lesson preparation • Planning and implementation of classroom and extracurricular activities (excursions, hiking, educational or sports events, etc.) • Implementing an individual approach to students, including ensuring/coordinating the implementation of an individual curriculum (if necessary) • Ensuring students' attendance at school, subject and, if necessary, individual consultations • intensive and operative communication with the parent (e-journal, social network, telephone connection, open door day, individual meeting, if necessary, planning the parent's visit) • Constant communication with subject teachers about issues related to academic and personal development or behavior of students • Informing the parents in writing every month, indicating the student's strengths or areas for improvement and relevant recommendations. • Ensuring class work on homework, monitoring results and informing parents and classroom teachers on a daily basis • Holding parents' meetings twice a semester • Conduct activities relevant to the development of self-expression, creativity and/or motor skills • Creating a psychologically safe environment for students • Taking care to encourage the child's independent skills • Working on children's bio-psycho-social development and drawing up an individual development plan accordingly Requirements: • Higher education: bachelor's degree, master's degree • Education in psychology, education administration or pedagogy is preferred • Perfect knowledge of the Georgian language, fluent speech • Knowledge of English: at least B2 level, for an English-language program • Knowledge of different methods and approaches of teaching and cooperation, taking into account the child's age and other characteristics • Effective verbal and digital communication skills • Basic computer skills • Interest and motivation for professional growth • Skills in teamwork and fostering a positive work atmosphere • Love of children • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a school environment and with students We offer: • Remuneration: depends on the candidate's experience
