Mandatory Salary is negotiable. Duties: • Ensuring a safe environment in the school area and controlling access • Prevent unauthorized entry of unauthorized persons into the school building and territory • Monitoring of corridors, courtyard, dining room and common spaces during classes and breaks • Controlling compliance with school regulations and registering violations • In emergency situations (fire, medical emergency, evacuation) the implementation of established procedures and ensuring the safe evacuation of students • Accompanying students on educational excursions and school events, if necessary • Prevention of conflicts between students and their peaceful, non-violent resolution • Early identification of bullying, violence and other risk factors and appropriate response • Cooperation with the school psychologist, tutors and social worker with students at risk • Protection of students' rights and respect-based, non-judgmental communication with them • Timely recording of incidents and written reporting to the administration • Accurate and compliance with child protection application (referral) procedures in accordance with the legislation • Systematic and constructive cooperation with the administration, teachers and parents • Participation in the development and updating of the school security policy • Participation in professional development and school activities Requirements: • The candidate must meet the requirements established by the legislation • Complete general education (higher education - preferred; education, psychology, law or social sciences - preference) • Georgian citizenship and military registration (for male candidates, in accordance with the law) • A document confirming the completion of a training/retraining course for a law enforcement officer will be considered an important advantage • Experience working with children or adolescents (school, camp, sports or educational institution) will be considered an advantage • Completion of a first aid course will be an advantage • Elementary knowledge of English language is desirable • Knowledge of child protection referral procedures and relevant legislation • Ability to de-escalate conflict and negotiate • Ability to respond calmly and quickly in stressful and emergency situations • Understanding the age characteristics of a teenager and the ability to adequately communicate with him • Digital literacy: mastery of electronic school management systems, surveillance systems and office programs • Ability to accurately and timely produce documentation • Benevolent and empathetic attitude towards adults, emotional stability and tact • Unconditional impartiality and fairness in relations with students • High professional ethics, responsibility, communication and teamwork culture • Organization, punctuality and discipline • Confidential and responsible management of student information We offer: • Salary is determined individually, in agreement with the candidate • Pleasant, team-based and collaborative work environment • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Environmentally clean environment, well-equipped classrooms and laboratories • A positive school culture focused on student learning and well-being
