Middle & Senior Golang Developer (Backend) - 2 positions Company: Ctrl+ Belgrade (Serbia). Official employment in Serbia, registration of a residence permit. Relocation for candidates from other countries. office, full-time. After 6 months of operation, it is possible to switch to a hybrid. Tasks: - Develop and support backend services in Go. - Implement new functionality and improve existing ones. - Design and maintain Rest APIs and external integrations. - Work with PostgreSQL: write queries, implement transactions and migrations, optimize performance. - Analyze problems at the application, API and database levels. - Write unit, integration and database tests. - Conduct code reviews and participate in the development of engineering standards. - Gradually improve the architecture while maintaining compatibility and existing system behavior. - Participate in technical planning and solving production problems. - Interact with frontend developers, QA, analysts and product representatives. Requirements: - Commercial backend development experience, including experience using Go in production. - Good knowledge of basic Go concepts: - Interfaces and composition. - Error handling. - Context, cancellation of operations and timeouts. - Competitiveness and synchronization. - Http services and middleware. - Testing and dependency management. - Confident knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. - Experience developing or supporting Rest/Json APIs. - Understanding of transactions, data consistency, schema migrations and backward compatibility. - Ability to work effectively with a large existing code base. - Experience in writing supported unit and integration tests. - Familiarity with Git, Docker, Linux and CI/CD. - Ability to independently investigate problems and clearly explain technical solutions.
