Siamo redditizi e avviati. Tutti i circa 150 nostri ingegneri sono interni e stabiliamo la nostra tabella di marcia. Stiamo cercando un ingegnere a livello di staff che possieda un dominio di prodotto. Il primo è Getting Paid: pagamenti, gateway di pagamento e documenti. È molto impegnativo in termini di backend e la correttezza è importante perché si tratta di soldi veri. Questo è un ruolo di IC con ambito a livello aziendale: - Possiedi l'architettura e la direzione tecnica del tuo dominio, con un orizzonte di anni - Lavori con il PM dalla scoperta fino alla produzione e ai risultati aziendali - Suddividi il lavoro in fasi che possono essere spedite ciascuna per conto proprio e coinvolgi gli ingegneri di cui hai bisogno - Imposta la barra tecnica per gli ingegneri del tuo dominio Stiamo cercando: - 8+ anni nel software, di cui 3+ nel possedere un sistema di produzione in cui la correttezza aveva conseguenze economiche o legali - Esperienza approfondita di backend e sistemi distribuiti: coerenza, idempotenza, guasto parziale - Esperienza come responsabile tecnologico, architetto o ingegnere fondatore che possedeva il risultato, non solo consigliato - Giudizio chiaro su dove l'intelligenza artificiale aiuta e dove no Bello avere: DDD, AWS, Ruby on Rails o Python, React/TypeScript Il nostro processo è composto da 3 passaggi: da portare a casa (~ 3 ore, sostituisce la codifica dal vivo) → progettazione del sistema → colloquio culturale. We're profitable and bootstrapped. All ~150 of our engineers are in-house, and we set our own roadmap. We're looking for a Staff-level engineer to own a product domain. The first one is Getting Paid: payments, payment gateways and documents. It's backend-heavy, and correctness matters because it's real money. This is an IC role with company-level scope: - You own the architecture and technical direction of your domain, with a horizon of years - You work with the PM from discovery through to production and business results - You break the work into stages that can each ship on their own and bring in the engineers you need - You set the technical bar for the engineers in your domain We're looking for: - 8+ years in software, including 3+ owning a production system where correctness had money or legal consequences - Deep backend and distributed systems experience: consistency, idempotency, partial failure - Experience as a tech lead, architect or founding engineer who owned the result, not just advised - Clear judgment on where AI helps and where it doesn't Nice to have: DDD, AWS, Ruby on Rails or Python, React/TypeScript Our process is 3 steps: a take-home (~3h, replaces live coding) → system design → culture interview.
